sluggin

So since my son and I have been sick I haven't gone to the gym since last Friday :( I have still been eating right and drinking water like crazy.. But ironically I have still lost weight.. I guess being sick does help keep your weight down!

more inspiration

She is so beautiful! Even when she was bigger.. I love her look and this is so inspiring!
Man this has been an eventful 48 hrs.. My little one woke up Saturday morning with a terrible cough and then he got a fever. So we was at the hospital for 6+ hrs.. they sent us home with a scrip for antibiotics and little guy has been very fussy.. So little sleep for me and now I have a runny nose and sniffles.. man oh man... plus side I have managed to maintain my weight and it is still going down.. NOT up lol

Today has been an exciting day! I am now back down to 274 and I am starting drills tomorrow! I am so excited  because my hubby will be helping me out and i know he doesn't play!!!

So motivated

SO I almost had a complete breakdown the other day.. My weight went from 274 to 278 in like 4 weeks... I wasn't working out yet then but I was breastfeeding and watching what I ate.. BUT I have been checking my weight and following Kim's diet article that I posted last time... I'm down to 276 which is a start but what has gotten me so excited is my body fat % has dropped 7%! So my weight is still a BIG issue but I am so happy to know that I am getting fit!

I feel so terrible.. I haven't worked out now in 3 days. I have been battling a sinus cold and it is awful.. I hate not being able to work out. I did a couple hundred crunches last night even though I felt like my head was going to explode! I felt the burn but I just don't think that is good enough.. So tonight I am planing on going to bed super early so I can have more energy and try to shake this cold ugh!!!


PS: I have been following this diet article that I found in life and style magazine with a few tweaks since I hate fish and I have redecorated my fridge and pantry for a little more "motivation" :)

First workout!

So Tuesday was my first workout and I knew I was out of shape but wow I didn't think I was THAT out of shape! 20 mins of fast paced walking on the treadmill at  3.0 and 20 mins on the bike at 10.5! My legs felt  so weak and my body was sweating like crazy.. plus I think the 100+° weather had an effect too.. but anyway water water water.. that is my new best friend! So excited!!!

Finally

I am so excited! I can finally start my official workout... I will be getting my gym membership this week!!! FOCUSED!!!!! I just need to try and get some rest so I wont need to drink coffee to stay awake!

the time is now!

So excited! Last night I did my first workout since having my son. I only was able to do a small 30 min cardio but i felt great! I feel great! My husband has agreed to start working out with me so he can get in shape. I cant wait we will start this week. I have a dr appointment this week and I will finally be able to get my 100% check up so I can start going full force on my workout! This is so exciting.
